Our Gas Additive uses a PIBA-based cleaner, which is gentler and safe for continuous use. While some additives rely on PEA, which is very strong and typically reserved for occasional treatments—usually just before an oil change—PIBA provides excellent cleaning when used regularly without being harsh on your system.
It’s also completely safe and effective for small engines, including dirt bikes, ATVs, lawnmowers, snowblowers, and generators—really, any gasoline-powered equipment. The formula was designed for versatility. It improves fuel stability, cleans the fuel system, and provides light lubrication. That’s especially beneficial for small engines that may sit unused for long periods.
Many customers use it in power equipment and recreational vehicles with great results.
As for octane boost, it’s not the primary purpose of the product, so any increase in octane is minimal, likely less than 0.5 points per bottle.
