Kit replaces the factory fuel coolant pump mounting bracket and moves the pump away from the oil filter housing. This allows for the use of the bigger, better PPE Deep Engine Oil Filter 114000750, an essential upgrade for the L5P, providing superior 5-micron filtration and more than double the filter media size.
The kit was pretty straight forward and easy to install. With hose crimps you can easily do this install with little to no coolant loss. Plenty of room for the new filter.
My only complaint is, this kit does not come with an extension for the factory harness. Even with manipulation of the harness it is a little on the tight side for my comfort.

Always been looking for upgrades for my 24' GMC 3500 truck, not just cosmetics. This coolant relocate kit plus the PPE oil filter (#*****) to replace the factory filter is going to be a big upgrade. I will say it a took longer then expected to receive this from DAC but I did plan ahaead. Only downfall is you have to be a little quick with the coolant hose swap, but I may have lost a half a quart of coolant that's it. Thanks much guys!!
Received the PPE coolant pump relocation kit a week ago and finally had the time to install. Install was extremely simple and everything fit perfectly and makes the extra room needed for the "real diesel oil filter" Only issue was a check engine light when I started the engine after I completed the install. Ran the code U062F, lost comminication with coolant pump 'C'. I know better, I should have disconnected the batteries before I disconnected the wiring harness but NO WHERE in the PPE installation guide does it say to do so. Slight misstep but cleared the code and no further problems.
